Polychem Suffern, N.Y., for 10 years before retiring in 1993. Previously, he worked at Coastal Chemical, East Rutherford, for 20 years. He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Lincoln Park and served as a deacon, elder, Sunday school teacher and youth director. He volunteered as an organist at the Lincoln Park Nursing Home and the North Jersey Developmental Center, Totowa. Surviving are his wife, the former Carolyn Hughes; a daughter, Renae Mancini; a brother, Michael; a sister, Lois Gershen; and four grandchildren.

He was a former member and past president of AIB and a former member of the High Mountain Country Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Claire Harding.
