The method ofparameter passing used in C is Call-by value. The call by value method of passing arguments to a function copies theactual value of an argument into the formal parameter of the function. Bydefault, C programming uses callby value to passarguments. In general, it means the code within a function cannot alter thearguments used to call the function. Parameter passing:- Themechanism used to pass parameters to a procedure(subroutine) orfunction. The most common methods are to pass the value of the actual parameter(call by value), or to pass the address of the memory location where the actualparameter is stored (call by reference).
