2 min read
Create Members Only pages, available exclusively to your logged-in members. Choose whether to display this page to all members or members with certain roles and pricing plans.
Note:
Make sure that you've added a Member's Area to your site before creating Members Only pages.
Access the Pages panel in your Editor: Wix Editor: ...
Click Add a Member Page.
Choose the relevant tab: Member Pages: These pages were automatically added to your site when you've installed a Wix app, like Wix Stores or Wix Blog. ...
For added protection, you can make a specific page a members-only page. When a visitor tries to open the protected page, they will be prompted to sign-in or to sign-up for access. NOTE: Your visitors will only be required to sign-up or log in when trying to access the members-only pages.
Wix offers the ability to charge for memberships and subscriptions through their Wix website membership. It's designed for solopreneurs and small businesses who want to restrict access to content.
Add a Members Area so visitors can create their own account on your site. Once members sign up, they can access exclusive pages and services. This tool works great for both business solutions (e.g. Wix Stores, Wix Bookings) or any social apps you're using (e.g. Wix Forum, Wix Blog).
Customers who are on a paid plan with Wix can now easily build a full-featured membership website by adding MembershipWorks snippets to Wix pages. No code knowledge required.
It's available in the Wix AppMarket, and you can add it to your site for free. Once installed, you can manage all aspects of your Wix membership business through your website's backend dashboard.
Some Wix apps include public pages where members can see each other's activity. For example, if you've added a social app like Wix Blog, every member gets a Profile page where they can share details about themselves and get to know other members.
To begin, open the WIX editor. On the left side of the screen, go to the "Pages" menu and select the page you want to hide. Click on the padlock icon to the top right of the page's name. This will open a "Set Permissions" window, where you can select the "Private" channel.
Click the Visibility drop-down and select an option: Visible: Anyone can find this group. Hidden: Only members can find this group. Only paying members: Members pay to view this group's content.
